Admittedly, I've been doing a pretty terrible job with this blog so far. I hope to get better with time-management, and streaming this blog into the job/family/fitness stream. Today was a pretty unremarkable day, in that I had to leave the gym mid-workout due to a seriously debilitating headache. I DID however hit my new lower (thanks a lot Kasey) Macro numbers pretty dead-on.
With the Macros slowly lowering, the diet is a bit of a moving target. I can no longer have as many staples in the rotation, as they would put me over carbs, or now..fat. Sources of just, or mainly, carbs are pretty easy to come-by. Just protein aint that bad to get at either. But, if you eat super lean, and find you protein and carbs maxed but still need fat...thats a tough spot to be in.
Overall, things are going well, and we're loving the process. Haley is looking GREAT, and I'm plugging away.

Opening Day!!
Away we go!!!
So, Here's the first day of OUR journey together. I met Kasey Yeargain in Tulsa when we were in a great Production of Carmen with Tulsa Opera. Kostis, the Artistic Dir, told me that Kasey used to look like me-but now looks like Achilles-I was blown away. What's more, he told me he'd done it in about a year and a half. So, Kasey and I became friends, and ultimately, I asked him to help me do what he did. He was actually jazzed to help, and we got right to it. He helped me find my calorie max, and sent me a workout schedule. I set to it with the help of my friend Corey Crider, who had been lifting for about a year.We were on the job together at that time in Castleton for Butterfly. He and I went to the gym together, 30 mins away, three times a week. He was so helpful not only in willpower starting out, and motivation, but also form lessons he passed down from his trainers.
Once Haley and I got back home, she started lifting with me, and there is day one.
Today, she and I are still hard at it, and killing it. Kasey has upped the stakes on our lifts, and has started to dial in precise numbers for Macro Nutrients. He couldn't be a better friend, or coach to us, and we simply can't say enough good about the guy, or his methods in which we've placed our complete trust. We can't wait to be "after" pictures for his blog to show off to his future clients. You should go check out his blog here.
